Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Assistant Account Manager in Oakland, CA to support the Account Manager with daily administration, staffing, and security operations. You will supervise Security Professionals and Shift Supervisors, handle scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll reviews, and coordinate staffing for meetings, events, and VIP visits.

The role requires strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in security or related field.
• Experience coordinating staffing, training, and operational support in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of security assessment principles, risk identification, and event security planning.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, professional interaction with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Account Manager in day-to-day administration and operational execution of the assigned security account.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, guidance to Security Professionals and Shift Supervisors.
• Assist with scheduling, overtime management, timekeeping, payroll review, & shift coverage to meet staffing requirements.
• Coordinate security staffing for meetings, conferences, executive visits, and client events.
• Support security assessments for meetings and VIP engagements; identify risks and staffing needs.
• Develop security plans with client stakeholders for events and meetings.
• Determine scope of services for meetings and special assignments; conduct pre-event walkthroughs.
• Develop and implement event security plans and briefings for personnel.
• Coordinate with client representatives and facilities, vendors, and law enforcement as needed.
• Monitor operations and ensure resources support attendee safety and business continuity.
• Prepare event-related reports and post-event reviews; capture lessons learned.
• Maintain compliance with post orders and Allied Universal standards.
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, training, and development of new personnel.
