Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Assistant Account Manager in San Jose, California. You will assist the Account Manager with supervision, training, and daily security operations at the assigned post, following post orders and client instructions. A comprehensive onboarding course will support your success.

You will coordinate tasks, supervise security professionals, maintain reports, and help ensure client satisfaction while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional-level experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
• Valid state Guard License; background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Driver’s license with clean driving record for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of executing the security contract at the location.
• Supervise, motivate, coach and train Security Professionals; evaluate performance.
• Maintain Post Order manual and training information; ensure post is well maintained.
• Assist with interviews and on-the-job training for new employees.
• Oversee reports, logs, and communications for the Security Department.
• Manage sub-units (e.g., fire control, command center) and handle extra coverage requests.
• Respond to incidents and ensure proper reporting and notifications.
• Identify personnel problems and support HR actions as directed.
• Support counseling or disciplinary actions under supervision; maintain client relationships.
• Respond to client/site emergencies and maintain positive client relationships.
