Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join the SOC team responsible for protecting Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will detect security events, coordinate investigations, and drive long-term process improvements while staying ahead of emerging threats.

Relocation assistance is provided for Madison, WI area. You'll work across teams to strengthen controls, analyze incidents, and implement security solutions, with a focus on practical, scalable

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, application whitelisting, and DLP.
• Experience with log analysis, monitoring, and auditing in a SOC environment.
• Security certifications such as SANS/GIAC, ISC2, EC-Council, or CompTIA are a plus.
• Knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting languages is helpful.
• Exposure to access management, Active Directory, and physical security is a plus.
• Familiarity with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools will be useful.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area is reimbursed.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

• Follow policies and escalate when procedures are not followed.
• Escalate security incidents and provide relevant information.
• Meet all security responsibilities defined in policies and procedures.
