Job summary

Epic is seeking a Security Operations Technician for Epic Hosting, based on our campus near Madison, WI, with relocation required to the Madison area. You will join a SOC team responsible for securing Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients, identifying security events and coordinating investigations across multiple teams.

You will use critical thinking to drive long-term process improvements, stay informed about emerging threats, and help implement security solutions.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and DLP.
• Knowledge of log analysis, monitoring and security operations center concepts.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events in the environment and coordinate investigation and response across teams.
• Apply critical thinking to drive long-term process improvements rather than quick fixes.
• Stay current on emerging threats and implement related information security solutions.
