Job summary

Epic is seeking a Security Operations Technician with Epic Hosting to join a SOC team securing Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events and coordinate investigation and response across multiple teams.

You will apply critical thinking to drive long-term process improvements, stay current on emerging threats, and help implement new information security solutions. Relocation to Madison, WI is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and incident response.
• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, DLP.
• Experience with log analysis and monitoring.
• Security certifications are a plus (e.g., SANS/GIAC, ISC2, EC‑Council, CompTIA).
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Active Directory and access management.
• Familiarity with SIEM, MFA, ITIL tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events in Epic's environment and coordinate investigation and response across multiple teams.
• Propose long-term process improvements and stay current on emerging threats.
• Assist with implementing new information security solutions.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting.
