Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join a SOC team that protects Epic's SaaS infrastructure. You will detect security events, coordinate response across multiple teams, and implement long-term improvements while staying current on threats.

Relocation to the Madison, WI area is reimbursed. You will work on site at the campus, with potential for shifts; Epic emphasizes healthcare client security and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, application whitelisting and DLP.
• Experience with log analysis, monitoring and auditing in security operations centers.
• Security certifications (GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, Security+) are a plus.
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, access management and physical security.

Responsibilities

• Secure Epic Hosting SaaS infrastructure by identifying security events and coordinating investigations across teams.
• Propose and implement long-term security process improvements.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and implement information security solutions.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting.
• Escalate incidents per policies and procedures.
