Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join our SOC team that secures Epic's SaaS infrastructure for healthcare organizations. You will identify security events and coordinate investigations across multiple teams, applying critical thinking to drive long-term improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, app whitelisting and DLP.
• Knowledge of log analysis, monitoring and system/network auditing in SOC environments.
• Security certifications such as GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, or Security+ are a plus.
• PowerShell scripting is helpful.
• Experience with Active Directory, access management, and physical security is a plus.
• Familiarity with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events and coordinate investigations across teams.
• Recommend and implement long-term information security improvements.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting.
• Escalate incidents and ensure policy adherence.
