Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Operations Manager to lead security services delivery across client sites. You will oversee hiring, staffing, scheduling, training, payroll, and compliance while supporting employees and clients.

Responsibilities include managing selection, placement, scheduling, and payroll processes; maintaining staffing levels and providing strong client relations. The role emphasizes leadership, team building, and operational excellence across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license if driving a company vehicle or for business travel.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Minimum of three years of leadership experience in a high-volume workforce environment.
• Experience building and developing teams.
• Leadership skills fostering teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations and results.
• Ability to maintain a profitable book of business through cross-collaboration and problem solving.
• Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office and BI tools for metrics analysis, reporting, automation, and presentations.
• Dynamic networking skills demonstrating commitment to safety and trust at community, client and industry events.
• Basic understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and financial reporting; ability to interpret data to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage selection and placement for security professionals and supervisors; develop career progression plans; evaluate underperformers for changes.
• Create, modify and manage post schedules to ensure coverage and proper staffing.
• Maintain regular contact with staff to ensure utilization, training, and placement readiness; review 'No Hours' reports weekly.
• Process weekly payroll and ensure accurate timekeeping; handle final paychecks and related issues.
• Enforce policies, document disciplinary actions, and manage terminations when needed.
