Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Operations Manager to lead security service delivery across client sites. You will oversee frontline hiring, staffing, scheduling, training, and compliance while supporting employees and clients.

The role promotes high-quality service, workforce stability, and operational consistency by addressing performance concerns and maintaining contractual staffing levels. Key duties include managing selection and placement, post scheduling in WinTeam, weekly payroll,

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a high-volume workforce environment.
• Experience building and developing teams.
• Leadership skills that foster teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations and achieving results.
• Ability to interpret simple financial data to support decision-making.
• Proficiency with web-based applications and computer systems including MS Office and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the selection and placement process for security professionals, including first-line supervisors; design career development and performance plans; evaluate low-performing staff for replacement, upgrade or transfer.
• Make initial job offers and transfers using company forms and procedures; publish weekly Open Post List and manage openings within division/branch.
• Create, modify and manage post schedules in WinTeam to ensure adequate coverage; ensure schedules reflect contract requirements and manage overtime.
• Maintain proactive contact with Security Professionals to ensure staffing and training; review No Hours Report weekly and disposition inactive staff per policy.
• Process payroll weekly per procedures; verify timekeeping and resolve payroll discrepancies; document status and communicate to affected employees.
• Manage disciplinary and counseling sessions; initiate terminations; maintain morale and ensure consistent procedures across posts.
