Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, AdventHealth Orlando, is a 1,368-bed facility serving as a major tertiary center for the Southeast, the Caribbean, and South America. It houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and cardiac catheterization labs in the country, providing service to over 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients annually.
The Security Dispatcher maintains the professional, effective, and efficient operation of the AdventHealth Security Operations Center. Responsibilities include coordinating security personnel, communicating via radio, handling calls for various services and alarms, and maintaining records. The dispatcher monitors alarms related to medical gas, fire, life safety, infant abduction, access control, and generators, dispatching appropriate responses. They also participate in delivering outstanding customer service and uphold respectful relationships with all.

Required: High School Diploma or GED, 0 years experience.
Preferred: Prior dispatching experience in healthcare security, law enforcement, or emergency services; knowledge of NIMS and HICS.
Required:
Preferred: IAHSS Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO).
