What you’ll be responsible for:

We are seeking a Clinical Support Dispatcher to route emergent and non-emergent encounters across different service lines. The Dispatcher plays a key role in accelerating patient care by receiving and prioritizing encounters from clinical facilities, working under the supervision of Shift Supervisors, team leads, and Managers.

What you’ll work on:
  • Communicating effectively with hospital staff and Access TeleCare physicians to ensure timely patient care.
  • Managing all Coordinator duties proficiently.
  • Handling incoming encounters throughout their lifecycle efficiently.
  • Prioritizing and assigning emergency and non-emergency consultations across multiple service lines.
  • Using established protocols and systems to evaluate situations and take appropriate actions, including testing communication equipment readiness.
  • Monitoring queues to prioritize and assign consultations to meet or exceed service level agreements.
  • Exhibiting service excellence by meeting or exceeding performance metrics.
  • Maintaining professionalism in interactions with healthcare facilities, physicians, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Being on-call, remaining on duty after shifts, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Performing duties timely and effectively according to company policies to support clinical operations.
  • Fostering positive, collaborative relationships across departments to ensure an efficient work environment.
  • Keeping supervisors informed of issues and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Promoting a positive team culture aligned with company values.
  • Performing other tasks as needed.
What you’ll bring to Access TeleCare:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in a call center, healthcare, or IT environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools across operating systems.
  • Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Excellent customer service skills and high attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for healthcare innovation and positively impacting patient lives.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and work remotely effectively.
  • This is a full-time position (~40 hours/week), requiring availability during our 24/7 operations, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical requirements include speaking, listening, sitting for extended periods, looking at a monitor, and repetitive hand/finger movements.
