Job summary

Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for ParkX Management to ensure a smooth, safe, and pleasant experience for residents, tenants, and guests. Responsibilities include hourly patrols, access control, safety enforcement, and event support across Reston and Loudoun properties.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma, at least 1 year in customer service, and DC Security Officer certification. Valid license required; after-hours and weekends work required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• DC Security Officer Certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-service related field.
• Valid driver’s license without major violations.
• Able to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrols of the property.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Ensure no property is being damaged.
• Conduct routine foot patrols around building.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Observation and reporting of safety concerns.
• Issue banning notices to rule violators.
• Maintain files for ban notices and notify management as needed.
• Maintain the appearance of plaza kiosks.
• Enforce the 'no dogs on the plaza' policy.
• Keep information up to date and communicate to guests as needed.
• Report any unknown work occurring at the property to management.
• Notify Park X if illegal parking occurs.
• Communicate fire access area requirements to guests.
• Close loading dock doors as needed.
• Report concerns to management.
• Assist Marketing team at Reston and Loudoun Station events.
• Manage valet at Reston Station.
