• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors by conducting site-specific screening procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings at entry points using approved equipment and procedures, escalating prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify campus personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain accurate screening logs, incident reports, and visitor documentation per site requirements.
• Conduct regular patrols of education facilities to identify and report security concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Systems in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic educational location, you will help create a welcoming environment by screening individuals and belongings, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and help deter incidents through attentive service. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and personal belongings at designated entry points using approved equipment and procedures, escalating prohibited items or concerns according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate screening logs, incident reports, and visitor-related documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned education facilities, entry areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
