Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Security Officer at the Dell Children’s Center- North in Austin, TX. This full-time position involves rotating shifts and proactive monitoring to identify and respond to security threats, investigate incidents, and support emergency preparedness drills.

Responsibilities include assisting staff and visitors on safety matters and operating a vehicle safely when required, with licensure and weapon-permit credentials as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Drivers License credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Security Guard specializing in Weapon Permit credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Security Professional credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety preferred.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
