Job summary

Unlimited Technology is seeking a Traveling Security Technician to install, service, test and inspect access control and IP camera systems across client sites in the United States. You will read engineered drawings, perform equipment installations, and coordinate with site managers to ensure security infrastructure meets client needs.

The role requires 3–5 years of security installation experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
• 3–5 years of security installation experience.
• Knowledge of security equipment systems (intrusion, access control, surveillance).
• Ability to obtain and retain U.S. Government Security Clearance; DCJS Certified is required.

Responsibilities

• Service and test Access Control and IP Camera products and platforms.
• Read and comprehend engineered drawings.
• Understand door hardware installation.
• Complete all job tickets and paperwork.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Communicate project activity to the UT project manager or appropriate manager.
