Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Security Technician to join UT Government. You will install, service, test and inspect access control and IP camera systems for premier clients across the United States, while representing the company professionally with customers.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of security installation experience, familiarity with security equipment, ability to read engineered drawings, and DCJS certification; U.S. government clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
• 3–5 years of security installation experience with network ability.
• Knowledge of security equipment systems (intrusion detection, access control).
• Ability to install and maintain alarms, access control, and assessment devices.
• U.S. Government security clearance preferred; DCJS certification required.
• Willingness to travel across the US; travel up to 2 weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Service and test Access Control and IP Camera products and platforms.
• Read and comprehend engineered drawings.
• Readiness for door hardware installation.
• Complete all necessary job tickets accurately.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Communicate project activity to UT project manager promptly.
