Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Safe & Secure associate to patrol the gate, monitor the yard, and enforce safety and access protocols at our Belton location. You’ll be the on-site face to associates, vendors, and visitors, and you’ll perform safety audits and vehicle inspections.

You’ll use CCTV/RFID and our security apps, respond to emergencies, and uphold safety standards in all weather. 1–2 years in customer service and strong communication are ideal for this boots-on-the-ground role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• A track record of solid decision-making in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and connect with people quickly.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to handle conflict in a positive, productive way.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Live the Carvana values and reinforce them with the team.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and actively listen to signals.
• Monitor live cameras and review footage to investigate alerts.
• De-escalate situations and collaborate with partners to resolve issues.
• Run gate operations and RFID/ SAS App procedures for ingress/egress.
• Document vehicle movement at entrances and through the Inspection Center.
• Be trained in first aid, CPR, and AED and use when needed.
• Follow emergency protocols to act decisively in seconds.
