Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Security Concierge to welcome employees, contractors, and guests while enforcing access control and security protocols at SpaceX facilities. The role interacts with SpaceX leadership and the Protective Operations Center to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies.

Responsibilities include tracking visits, providing high quality service, maintaining procedures, and building relationships with internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 5+ years of experience working in a customer service or facility security position.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Ability to navigate complex support needs, and build solid relationships with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits.
• Provide high quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Interface with high-level internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols.
• Coordinate with Security leadership and SPOC to notify and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Assist emergency response personnel and monitor site cameras.
• Prepare written incident reports and report maintenance or alarms.
• Build collaborative relationships with other SpaceX departments and landlords regarding day-to-day security operations.
• Oversee multiple projects without direct supervision.
