Job summary

SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is seeking a Security Operator to uphold the first impression of the organization while ensuring the safety and security of SpaceX facilities. The role involves welcoming employees, visitors, and vendors and enforcing access control protocols across multiple campuses.

Responsibilities include monitoring events, coordinating with the Protective Operations Center, and producing concise incident reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service or facility security.

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits.
• Provide high-quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols at SpaceX facilities.
• Coordinate with Security leadership and SPOC to initiate notifications and response measures for incidents or emergencies.
• Assist emergency response personnel at SpaceX sites and prepare incident reports.
• Report maintenance issues and alarms; build relationships with SpaceX departments and partners.
• Duties may include standing post, escort duty, tours, and other tasks as directed.
