Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Security Operator to provide the first impression of our security program at various facilities. The role involves welcoming employees, contractors, and visitors, enforcing access control, and coordinating with security leadership during incidents and emergencies.

Responsibilities include monitoring surveillance, preparing incident reports, and collaborating with Facilities, HR, and other teams to ensure secure operations during events and routine activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in a customer service or facility security-related capacity.

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits.
• Provide high-quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols for SpaceX facilities.
• Coordinate with Security leadership and SPOC to notify and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Monitor site surveillance camera system and assist incident reporting.
• Build collaborative relationships across SpaceX departments and with landlords or building owners for day-to-day security operations and special events.
