Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Security Operator to be the first point of contact at facilities, delivering professional service to employees, guests, and contractors. You will manage access control, escorts, and tours, and coordinate with SpaceX leadership to respond to incidents.

The role requires strong communication, de-escalation skills, and reliability, with readiness to work varied shifts and pass pre-employment checks. ITAR compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service or facility security-related capacity.

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits.
• Provide high-quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols.
• Coordinate with Security leadership and SPOC to notify and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Monitor site surveillance systems and prepare written incident reports.
• Build collaborative relationships with SpaceX departments and landlords as needed.
• Perform duties such as standing post, escort, and tours as directed.
