Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support IT programs for government clients. The role involves translating business needs into detailed requirements, creating clear documentation, and delivering briefings to executives and stakeholders.

You will interact with Senior Leadership and government teams to drive improvements and technology implementations. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in business analysis, experience with Agile, and ability to obtain necessary government

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Must be able to obtain Government Security clearance.
7+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or design of information systems programs.
Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methods.
Experience with Jira or other Agile tools.
Clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
Ability to work well in both team and independent settings.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with government projects and policy teams.
Comfort working with Senior Leadership and Government Executives.

Responsibilities

Support development of briefings, agendas, and documentation.
Document and analyze business and functional requirements for process maps and system specs.
Develop documentation including system diagrams, concepts of operations, and status reports.
Create high-level briefings and communications for customers and executives.
Identify and implement opportunities for service delivery improvement and new technology.
