Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line seeks a Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive security architecture across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will partner with IT, legal, and leadership to align security with business goals and regulatory requirements.

The role requires deep expertise in security controls, risk assessments, incident response, and third‑party risk, with a focus on defense‑in‑depth and governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of an enterprise cybersecurity architecture aligned with business goals.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, endpoint security, IAM, and data protection.
• Oversee security controls, risk assessments, governance, and incident response programs.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to meet regulatory requirements (CCPA, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc.).
• Mentor cybersecurity engineers and manage third‑party risk and assessments.
