Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive security program across the enterprise. You will lead strategic initiatives, define control requirements, and ensure resilience of critical logistics systems.

This role requires deep expertise in security frameworks, cloud security, and incident response, with a track record of guiding teams and improving security postures in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS) and large enterprise experience.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and secure DevSecOps practices.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture aligned with business goals.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, data, and endpoint security.
• Oversee security controls across on‑premises and cloud infra; ensure defense‑in‑depth.
• Conduct risk assessments of technologies and applications; ensure policy compliance.
• Develop and maintain a cybersecurity governance framework and incident response plan.
• Collaborate with executives to define risk appetite and incident response workflows.
• Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation programs.
• Mentor cybersecurity engineers and manage third‑party risk assessments.
