Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking an accomplished Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our security architecture across on-premises and cloud environments. You will guide strategic security initiatives, drive risk-based decisions, and ensure protections align with business goals.

You will collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to enforce standards, manage third-party risk, and oversee vulnerability management, incident response, and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS) and enterprise-scale security.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network/cloud/endpoint security and IAM.
• Oversee security tooling integration (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management).
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity governance, policies, and standards.
• Lead incident response and coordinate with legal/compliance teams.
• Mentor cybersecurity engineers and assess third-party risks.
