Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive security architecture across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will define strategy, governance, and incident response, while guiding teams to secure critical systems and data.

The role requires extensive experience in security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS) and strong leadership to mentor engineers and drive risk-based decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including cloud/network security and IAM.
• Oversee vulnerability management, incident response, and governance programs.
