Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Manager with supervisory and operational duties at the assigned post. The role includes coaching Security Professionals, coordinating training, and ensuring post orders are properly maintained.

You will assist in interviewing and onboarding, supervise shift teams, and manage documentation such as reports and logs. Occasional guarding duties may apply, with a focus on client satisfaction and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional-level experience in security or related field.
• Must possess a valid state Guard License and pass a background investigation.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Manager with all supervisory, training and operations functions at the assigned post.
• Supervise and coach Security Professionals; evaluate performance and assign tasks.
• Maintain Post Order manuals and training information; keep post organized and updated.
• Conduct onboarding and on-the-job training for new employees; coordinate with Shift Supervisors.
• Oversee reports, logs, and pass-downs; relay communications to guards as directed.
• Manage sub-units within Security Department and handle extra security requests.
• Respond to incidents and ensure proper reporting and timely notifications.
• Identify personnel issues and assist with investigations or disciplinary actions.
• Assist with client relations and emergency response coordination.
• Occasionally perform guard duties up to 50% of time as needed.
