Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Manager with all supervisory, training and operations functions at the assigned post. A comprehensive onboarding course is provided to ensure best practices, tools, and guidance.

The role involves coordinating security operations, supervising staff, maintaining post orders, and conducting new-hire training. A strong background in security and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional-level experience; security industry, law enforcement or military background preferred.
• Must possess a valid state Guard License or be able to obtain one; background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Valid Driver’s License for driving positions; clean driving record.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to de-escalate situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Manager in coordinating all aspects of the security contract at the location.
• Supervise and motivate security professionals; coach and train as needed.
• Maintain Post Orders, training information, and site cleanliness/organization.
• Conduct interviews and train new employees; orient to post and responses to emergencies.
• Oversee security reports, logs, and communications; manage sub-units within Security Department.
• Respond to incidents and ensure proper reporting and timely notifications.
• Identify personnel issues and coordinate with management; support disciplinary actions.
• Respond to client/site emergencies and maintain client relationships.
• Occasionally perform Security Professional duties as needed, up to 50% of time.
