Job summary

Allied Universal, based in Minnesota, is hiring an Account Manager to lead daily security operations, guide a team of security officers and supervisors, and deliver exceptional service for client properties. You will drive staffing, payroll, and performance management while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires a minimum of three years in security or related fields, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or personal vehicle for business.
• Minimum of three years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination.
• Proven ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence.
• Financial acumen; able to manage staffing levels while minimizing non-billed overtime and controlling inventory costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling using AI-powered tools to meet client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime.
• Lead and develop security teams: hire, coach, and manage officers and supervisors; oversee payroll, performance, and employee relations.
• Enhance client relationships as the primary point of contact to ensure high-quality service that protects people and property.
• Handle security incidents and emergencies with professional escalation and coordination with clients and internal teams.
• Direct compliance and security operational excellence: oversee training, safety, site standards, and inventory management (uniforms, equipment, etc.).
