Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami is seeking an Account Manager to lead daily security operations, guide officers and supervisors, and ensure the safety of people and property across assigned sites. This role requires strong leadership, client relationship management, scheduling using AI tools to match contract hours and minimize overtime, and oversight of training, compliance, payroll, and vendor coordination.

A high school diploma is required, with preferred security or business credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license if using a company or personal vehicle for business.
• Minimum of two years in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in leading and retaining a dynamic team with strong client relationships.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and coordination with law enforcement.
• Proven ability to assess situations, make independent decisions, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Proficiency with web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence.
• Financial acumen; ability to manage staffing levels while minimizing non-billed overtime and controlling inventory costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling using AI-powered technology to meet client contract hours and minimize unbilled overtime.
• Lead and develop security teams by hiring, coaching, payroll oversight, performance, and employee relations.
• Enhance client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for high-quality service.
• Handle security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Direct compliance and security operational excellence, including training, safety, and site standards, plus inventory management.
