Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior mechanical engineer onsite in Plano, TX with an active DoD Secret clearance. Lead a section of engineers, guide RF system design/integration, and oversee EVMS/EAC tracking and risk management. Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field from ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with design/integration of RF systems or subsystems and related manufacturing/test processes.
• Team leadership responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical execution.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a section of 10–15 Mechanical and/or multi‑disciplined Engineers.
• Provide technical expertise for proposals, EVMS/EAC tracking, and risk management.
• Design, test, integrate, and document mechanical aspects of Raytheon hardware and subsystems.
• Ensure work products meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
• Maintain section staffing and engage in career development.
• Support recruitment and personnel retention efforts.
