Job summary

RTX is seeking a mechanically oriented engineer to contribute to design and development activities in a highly collaborative team. The role requires applying engineering practices and problem-solving to create robust mechanical designs and solutions.

You will work with CREO and other modeling tools, participate in projects from concept through implementation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic aerospace/defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or related (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience with CREO or 3D modeling tools.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• Experience in mechanical or electrical design, engineering, and analysis.
• Experience in manufacturing methods and processes, including machining, casting, forging, welding, and bonding.
• Experience in mechanical drawing practices, dimensioning, and tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• You will contribute your knowledge of engineering practices and problem-solving to perform mechanical design and development activities.
• You will support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from program or team experts, and work on projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions.
