Job summary

RTX’s Antenna Design Department seeks a Section Leader in McKinney, TX, to guide RF hardware development across the full lifecycle, balancing hands-on work with people leadership. The role focuses 85% on program execution and 15% mentoring and staffing for the RF team.

Onsite position requiring DoD Secret clearance. Requires a STEM degree or 8+ years of relevant experience; collaboration across Systems, Mechanical, and Software engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in STEM or 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF hardware design, analysis, integration, verification and troubleshooting.
• Proficient with RF development tools such as Keysight ADS, HFSS, Genesys/SystemVue, Mentor DX Designer.

Responsibilities

• Performance management and career development for the section.
• Oversee hiring efforts (resume reviews, interviews, etc).
• Lead RF hardware design, development, integration and qualification.
• Provide technical oversight of suppliers and cross-functional collaboration.
