Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Junior Property Compliance Analyst to support tenant file reviews for Section 42 programs with emphasis on income eligibility under 24 CFR Part 5. This entry‑level role offers hybrid work options and travel 25–35% domestically.

You will research regulatory requirements, assist with pre/post-occupancy reviews, and work under supervision to ensure accuracy and compliance while growing in affordable housing standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year experience in Section 42/Section 8 or similar housing programs with emphasis on 24 CFR Part 5.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; COS/HCCP certifications preferred; ability to obtain within two years.
• Knowledge of HOTMA and regulatory compliance rules.
• Strong written and verbal communication; deadline-driven with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews.
• Identify potential issues and elevate concerns during engagements.
• Research federal/state regulations and apply findings under supervision.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards in a deadline-driven environment.
• Collaborate with team and complete other duties as assigned.
