Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or out-of-state certificate required; ESL Certification if not yet obtained.
• Content exam and SoTR exam requirements met if applicable.
• Certification must meet federal/state requirements to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to district instructional philosophy and develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum.
• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for differing learning styles and present material per TEA and policy guidelines.
• Assess student learning and collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Collaborate with staff to set goals and supervise teacher aides and volunteers; use technology to enhance learning.
