Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Alabama is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the second shift and oversee production and maintenance activities. You will work with supervisors to meet daily production and yield targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will develop team members, enforce policies, and administer corrective actions as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company procedures on a fast-paced poultry line.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years relevant experience in similar production environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience.
• Previous poultry industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations including oversight for maintenance personnel.
• Assist supervisors with supervising and training production employees.
• Work with all employees to ensure production/yield requirements are met on a daily basis.
• Ensure safety of all employees and compliance with food safety standards with QA.
• Develop employees within designated areas and enforce company policies; administer corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
