Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Tennessee is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor for Retail or Further processing departments to supervise production line personnel, ensuring compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA regulations while achieving productivity and meeting customer specifications.

You will deploy and rotate staff, monitor reports, identify process improvements, mentor workers, enforce safety, and coordinate with Quality Assurance to maintain sanitary conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ year manufacturing experience; 3+ years in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• Experience leading teams including timekeeping, policy adherence, conflict resolution; strong English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise retail or further processing production line/department to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure accurate daily reporting (attendance, yields, etc.).
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Coach, mentor and train staff; implement performance improvement plans when needed.
