LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor for a second-shift paint operations role in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You will lead a Team Leader and about 25 operators, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production in a high-volume automotive plastics environment. • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a unionized automotive manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, root-cause analysis.
• Experience with painted plastic components or similar production processes.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Provide hands-on leadership for second-shift paint operations and ensure safe, efficient execution of the production schedule.
• Lead one Team Leader and about 25 employees across loading, unloading, line support, inventory, material handling, and quality functions.
• Allocate labor and resources to meet daily production needs and maintain shift continuity.
• Monitor line performance, quality, scrap, downtime, and material usage; take corrective actions as needed.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with PPE, chemical handling, and regulations.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Production to resolve defects and variations.
• Support troubleshooting of the paint line, robotics, conveyors, sensors, and controls.
• Ensure materials are staged, tracked, and available for uninterrupted operations.
• Conduct shift start-up meetings and provide handovers to next shift and plant leadership.
• Train and develop staff and administer policies in line with union rules.
• Complete shift records and drive continuous improvement via Lean, 5S, root-cause analysis.
