Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor for the second shift at a major automotive plastics and paint operation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You will lead one Team Leader and about 25 employees across loading, unloading, line support, inventory control, material handling, and quality auditing, driving safety, quality, delivery and productivity.

• Experience supervising a production team in a high-volume setting.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and issue-resolution abilities.
• Ability to plan labor and resources for daily production.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership for second-shift paint operations and safety.
• Lead one Team Leader and ~25 employees across multiple functions.
• Assign labor/resources to meet daily production needs.
• Monitor line performance, quality, scrap, downtime and material usage.
• Promote safety, ensure compliance with procedures and PPE standards.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance to resolve defects.
• Troubleshoot the automated paint line and related equipment.
• Ensure materials are staged, tracked, and controlled for uninterrupted operations.
• Conduct shift start-up meetings and handovers to next shift.
