Job summary

Spectrum AMT is seeking a Manufacturing Lead for our Colorado Springs facility. This is a hands-on, floor-based role on the second shift, not a supervisory position, focused on keeping product moving and escalating blockers quickly.

You will track flow through SMT, cable and wiring, final assembly, and inspection, ensure accurate records, and collaborate with QA and engineering to uphold quality and schedules.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of experience in electronics manufacturing; aerospace, defense, medical, or space preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SMT, cable and wiring assembly, final assembly or inspection.
• Knowledge of IPC Class 3 standards and ESD protocols.
• ERP/MRP system for production tracking and documentation.
• ITAR eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Move product through second-shift production cells, ensuring progress against schedule.
• Identify and escape blockers: missing materials, equipment issues, capacity gaps, unclear work instructions.
• Keep travelers, work orders, and production records accurate and up to date.
• Communicate priorities to team at shift start and as conditions change.
• Verify clock-in/out for second-shift team; track attendance and flag absences promptly.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping for payroll and reporting.
