Job summary

Samtec, Inc. in Colorado Springs is seeking a Manufacturing Production Operator for the second shift (Mon–Fri, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM) to assemble optical engine products and inspect advanced components.

The role requires one year of production or inspection experience, computer literacy (Excel/Outlook/Word), and adherence to safety and cleanroom protocols. WAFER handling, microscope use, and precision metrology are key duties.

Qualifications

• One year of production/manufacturing or inspection experience.
• Must be computer literate with Excel/Outlook/Word.
• Must follow department safety rules and wear required protective gear.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow processing instructions for assembly processes.
• Operate manual and automated assembly processes with dexterity.
• Control and operate computerized microelectronic assembly equipment.
