Spherion Staffing, LLC in Colorado Springs seeks a 2nd shift team lead for electrical assembly. In this hands-on leadership role you will keep production flowing across SMT, cable/wiring, and final assembly cells, support your team, and ensure top-quality standards.

You will track attendance, report line stoppages, maintain IPC Class 3 quality and ESD protocols, and conduct clear handoffs with the next shift leadership. Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 2 to 7 years of hands-on electronics manufacturing experience (aerospace, defense, medical, or space industry experience preferred).
• U.S. Citizenship or ITAR eligibility required.
• Proven reliability, strong attention to detail, and accountability.

Responsibilities

Join a premier local manufacturing leader as a Second Shift Working Manufacturing Lead! In this hands-on floor role, you will keep production flowing smoothly across electronics assembly cells, support your team, and ensure top-tier quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Guide daily product movement through SMT, cable/wiring, assembly, and inspection cells to ensure targets are met on time.
• Track team attendance, verify shift clock-ins/outs, and promptly report any line stoppages or material shortages.
• Maintain strict IPC Class 3 quality standards, 6S organization, and ESD protocols across the floor.
• Conduct clear, organized end-of-shift handoffs with incoming and outgoing shift leadership.

Skills

• Strong hands-on proficiency in SMT, cable and wiring assembly, final assembly, or quality inspection.
• Solid working knowledge of IPC Class 3 workmanship standards and ESD safety practices.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate team priorities and elevate floor issues quickly.
• Basic computer literacy and experience using ERP/MRP systems for production tracking.
