Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a technical field, electronics or electro-mechanical assembly manufacturing, aerospace/defense preferred.
• 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role with ability to lead production teams.
• High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate second shift electronics assembly tasks and priorities.
• Lead, mentor, and promote safety culture and quality-first mindset on the production floor.
• Train and onboard new technicians in electronics assembly techniques and IPC J-STD-001 requirements.
• Support technicians in through-hole and surface-mount soldering, PCB assembly, and electro-mechanical integration.
• Assist with optimizing manufacturing processes focusing on cycle time, yield, quality, and cost.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, BOMs, and work instructions to support assembly and inspection.
• Collaborate with QA to enforce IPC J-STD-001 workmanship standards and perform inspections.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and rework.
