You will follow recipe cards, rotate stock, check par levels, and assist in setting up plans to control costs, waste, and freshness while maintaining HEI standards.

Qualifications

• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start items ahead of time and manage production to meet demand.
• Label and rotate perishables, maintain proper temperatures.
• Check pars, stock levels, and assist in shortages/pantry upkeep.
• Return unused items to storage with date/covering.
• Help implement plans to reduce cost and waste.
• Operate and clean fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers and mixers.
• Adhere to HEI attendance and shift requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
