Job summary

The Stoneleigh in Dallas, part of HEI Hotels and Resorts, is hiring a Cook I for on-site, full-time work. You will prepare food to standard recipes, start items ahead of service, and maintain proper temperatures in a fast-paced luxury kitchen.

Ideal candidates have hotel or restaurant experience, strong dexterity, and good communication. You’ll help manage par levels, assist in cost control, and keep equipment clean while supporting a gracious guest experience in our Lions Den and Bar Leonessa.

Qualifications

• Hotel or kitchen experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and portion standards.
• Start items ahead of service and manage par levels.
• Rotate perishables and maintain proper temperatures.
• Assist in keeping buffet stocked and communicate shortages.
• Help control food costs and maintain equipment cleanliness.
