Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards per check from servers.
• Start items ahead of time, ensuring not to over-prepare estimated needs.
• Date and rotate perishables, keep at proper temperatures, and assist in keeping buffet stocked.
• Check pars for shift use, determine prep needs, and manage line setup.
• Help implement plans to control food cost and reduce waste to HEI standards.
