Job summary

The Stoneleigh in Dallas, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a kitchen professional to prepare food to consistent quality and support kitchen operations. You will work with a team to execute recipes, maintain proper food costs, and ensure safe handling of perishables.

Experience in hotel kitchens is preferred, with a focus on accuracy, speed, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. This role requires physical stamina and reliable attendance to meet daily service needs.

Qualifications

• Hotel kitchen experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs continuously.
• Effective verbal and written communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time without over‑preparing.
• Date and rotate perishables per HEI standards.
• Check pars, determine prep, and assist in buffet stocking.
• Return unused items to storage with date/cover.
• Assist in cost control and waste reduction.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment (fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, etc.).
• Maintain regular attendance and be available as scheduled.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
