Job summary

Best Buy Co. is hiring a part-time Seasonal Geek Squad Agent in Austin, Texas. You will be the first contact for tech support, assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on complex repairs.

Training and resources will be provided to help you grow in this role. You will help customers set up devices, explain repair or replacement options, and keep service queues updated with accurate statuses.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service during check-in and checkout.
• Assess customers’ needs and provide accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs. replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
