Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout. You will unload trucks, stock and maintain planograms, support BOPIS/SFS processes, and participate in merchandise recovery to keep shelves in stock.

Experience in retail or customer service is preferred, with ability to stand for long periods and move around the store. This role includes nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to provide friendly, helpful service and solutions to customers.
• Comfort with cash handling and POS transactions.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enroll where applicable.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain stock, merchandise recovery, and in-stock conditions.
• Support store safety programs and SOP compliance.
• Cross-train in framing selling and production where needed.
