Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and supervise and train store associates while ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping experience. The role involves opening/closing duties, merchandising, and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll and cash handling; support loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized to company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
• Ensure adherence to policies, safety guidelines, and proper procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
